Right now, I’m sharpening my skills in cloud technologies while preparing for a career in IT support or networking. I recently completed SAIT’s Network Systems Specialist program with a 4.0 GPA, where I built strong connections with instructors and classmates.
I’m actively seeking opportunities in IT support, networking, or cloud technologies where I can apply my skills and grow within the field. With a strong problem-solving mindset and technical expertise, I’m ready to contribute to your team’s success and help drive business solutions forward. Let’s connect!
Born and raised in Canmore, Alberta, I grew up hiking and fishing in the Rockies. My passion for IT started in middle school when I realized I could log into any computer at school and access my files—it blew my mind. That curiosity led me to explore Windows 2000 Server and Active Directory, sparking a lifelong interest in networking and system administration.
Throughout my career, managers kept handing me IT tasks—setting up satellite internet, upgrading PCs, and configuring projectors for use—which made me realize how much I like solving tech problems. Now, I’m ready to turn that passion into a career.
In my free time, I run an Unraid NAS for my movie collection, host game servers, and set up smart home systems. I also manage my own websites, use Hyper-V for VMs, and maintain a home network with Wi-Fi 6E, Cisco switches, and a VPN connecting my house to my parents.
Before pursuing IT, I spent over a decade in customer service at Kenroc Building Materials, specializing in tailored product guidance for commercial clients. This role honed my problem-solving and communication skills—skills I’m confident will translate well into the tech world.
